38 Weeks!!

Both the nursery and I are almost ready for Baby Rincon's arrival. As you can see from these pictures, my belly continues to grow (and grow and grow). But also, you can see that the nursery gets a little more organized and a little more put together each week. Since the last post, the changing table was completed and moved into the nursery. A friend made curtains that are now hanging in the window. The crib has been moved to it's "final resting place", and most of the miscellaneous baby stuff has been put away. The glider even has a corner cleared out for it (as soon as it's ready).

Speaking of the glider, Diego is almost finished with it!! Though it looks assembled here, this is just a dry fit. He did this first to ensure that all parts intended to glide, do glide and that everything fits together properly. He has also finished all of the wood with a stain and a coat of polyurethane. The final step will be to take it apart and then glue & screw it all back together - which he will do upon his return from Mumbai. And the same friend who made the curtains for the nursery is making cushions for the glider. It's really all coming together!
