The Brooding Sky

I was originally under the notion that monsoon season ended mid-August. Now, it seems, it ends mid-September. Last week, we had rain every day, and it was all day a few times. I am eager for the rains to end, as it will be much easier to get out with Luis and/or Ashley.
Diego has talked about how beautiful and clear-blue the skies were before monsoon season. We suspect that they will be that way again, after the monsoons pass. But I will miss this kind of dark, brooding sky that appears just before a big storm. I especially like this kind of sky over the ocean, with the white caps and the palm trees blowing in the big wind. It was just beautiful.
