Diego called this morning, just a few minutes after he left for work. "Look out the window," he said. "Over towards the Otters Club." I looked, but didn't see anything out of the ordinary - lots of cars and bikes and rickshaws and pedestrians and stray dogs.
"Look closer, on the far side of the road." And then I saw them. Two donkeys just standing in the road. What is odd to me, is that no one seemed to think it was odd. Cars swerved around them; essentially that little piece of two lane road became a one lane road. For about 30 minutes!
